Public Works employees plant trees in Dexter

Dexter Department of Public Works employee, Matthew S. Shawcross of Pillar Point, shovels topsoil around a newly planted tree off West Grove Street. 106 trees were planted as part of the Arbor Day 2001 project. Trees were planted across the North Country to replace those destroyed in the 1998 Ice Storm. 2001. Dexter, NY. Photo originally printed in the Watertown Daily Times.
