Known as Arnot Hardware Store or Arnot’s Plumbing & Heating Company, owned by William Arnot, pictured here. Note small boy on work bench (far left near corner of window), shiny new galvanized tubs, and vise in front of Arnot. This business became Bushnell & Bassett under new ownership in the early 1900s. Circa late 1890s. Carthage, NY. Donated to the Four Rivers Historical Society by Delena Schreck, who is a descendant of the Arnots.
