Clearing the Raquette River in Hollywood Hamlet
Clearing the Raquette River area in what used to be the hamlet of Hollywood, prior to construction of Carry Falls dam and subsequent flooding of the hamlet. Man in center, squatting, is Gordon K. Watson. He was part owner of Ford & Watson, who cleared the area. Pulp loader (Ford tractor) in background, designed by Harold “Bub” Stowe, Sr. Circa 1951, in Hollywood, Town of Colton.
