A J.B. Brinsmade wood-fired steam locomotive running on the L.C. & M.R.R., which may stand for the Lake Champlain and Moriah Railroad. J.B. Brinsmade was associated with the mining industry and the railroad in the town of Moriah. Engine #6. Circa 1870-1880. Along Lake Champlain, in either Essex or Clinton County in NYS.
