Lime quarry in Lewisburg
Caption on photo: Photograph taken in the New York lime quarry shortly after the cave discovery in the fall of 1906. Note the pocket that contained the calcite crystals, located on the left side of the photograph, approximately midway between the quarry floor and the top of the quarry face.
