Stagecoach driver James Hotaling in Hermon
James Hotaling posing with his horse drawn stagecoach in front of train tracks. Written on the coach is: Hotels and Residences. This stagecoach transported people between the train depot and hotels in Hermon and Russell; Trout Lake was a popular destination. Note “old-fashioned” long dresses and short capes of the two older women standing next to the stagecoach. Perhaps “travel” garments from an earlier era. Circa 1910-1920. Hermon, NY.
