The 1st National Bank of Potsdam was the first nationally charted bank in the St. Lawrence County. The 1st National Bank opened in 1866, replacing Frontier Bank (in Potsdam 1851-1866). Both businesses were on Market St. Circa 1890-1910. Potsdam, NY.
