Work crew posing with threshing equipment in Hermon
A group of workers pose with a stream engine and threshing machine. They have pitch forks ready for field work and steam is emanating from the boiler. Probably a neighborhood work circle. These specialized machines were usually transported from farm to farm where neighboring farmers helped each other out to secure harvest. Three women are among the workers. Circa 1900. Hermon, NY.
